Do I need to buy tickets?
Lakeside Carols is a FREE event however, we do request you offer a gold coin upon entry which will go to our Charity Partner, St Kilda Mums!
What is the VIP area all about?
In a nutshell, a VIP ticket will give you a dedicated zone to enjoy the event and also provide you with a chance to purchase a beverage or two from our friends at the Cricketer's. To purchase tickets please click here!
Where do we park, how do we get there?
Locals are encouraged to walk, bike, ride-share, however if this is not a possibility you can, simply catch the number 1 tram along Victoria Street and get off at stop number 30 at Graham street or stop number 31 at Victoria street and walk 2 blocks west toward Pickles Street.
Fancy taking the Bus? – take route 606 along Richardson Street and get off outside Gasworks or take routes 234 along Bay Street or 236 Graham Street - Port Melbourne and walk along Richardson toward the corner of Richardson and Pickles.
Need to Drive and park? – There are parking bays located on Graham street adjacent to the theatre & gallery entrance. Parking restrictions apply. The gravel area previously used for parking is now closed and returned to parkland to reduce the risk to public safety.
Please note that there will be limited accessible parking spaces.
Can I BYO Alcohol?
We are excited to have the wonderful folk from the Cricketer's manage a licensed pop-up bar, both in VIP and general free admission. Please drink responsibly. No alcohol permitted in non-licensed areas.
Can I bring my pet?
Animals are not permitted at the Event or the Venue while the event is being held (except Guide Dogs). If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.
Is the event accessible?
Yes the event is wheelchair accessible. Please go to the Information Marquee if you require assistance.
Will there be a hydration station?
YES! As our vendors will not be selling single-use water bottles please bring your own water vessel to fill up as you need at our water hydration station.
What happens if it rains?
This is an ALL WEATHER event. The event will take place rain, hail or shine. If it looks like rain, dress accordingly – plastic ponchos are great!
Please note umbrellas are not permitted at this event.
Can I request a song to be sung!
Of course you can!!

We won’t do carols without Mariah's banga tune!
Is the event Pram friendly?
Absolutely! The event is child/family friendly.
Are camp chairs allowed
Only low ones, like used on the beach. NO DIRECTOR’S CHAIRS ALLOWED.
Can we bring our own candles?
Of course you can! If you forget, don't worry as you will be able to purchase some from our Glow Stall on the night!
